“Setting the Gold Standard in the Archdiocese of Miami
for their work supporting children in foster care!”
“Having organized Annual Parish Drives- food, toys, backpacks, school supplies, toiletries-  benefiting hundreds of children in foster care, including Catholic Charities’ unaccompanied refugee minors, and for recruiting volunteers to serve as foster parents, Guardian ad Litem, mentors, and panelists in the child welfare system, Holy Rosary-St. Richards Catholic Church of Palmetto Bay, Florida receives this year’s Distinguished Service Award.

Under the leadership of Father Daniel Houde, Holy Rosary-St. Richard parishioners have set the “gold standard” for every parish in the Archdiocese of Miami.”
The Worldview International Foundation (City-Keepers) is a faith-based coalition of religious, professional,
business, and marketplace leaders glorifying God through “spiritual multiplication” growing them in faith, and
fostering greater discipleship in our community. The ministry is based in Miami but has an international outreach,
particularly in Germany.
Accepting the award was Father HoudeBr. Kevin McGrady, event organizer Kathleen Nelson-Smith, and parishioners Rosie Perez-Lacayo (Hope, Heart & Home) and Carmenza Ortiz (Hope, Heart & Home).
