DESCRIPTION:Liz Anon has been in child welfare for over 34 years.  With a BA from\nFIU and a law degree from UM, she started in 1989 as an attorney for the Dept.\nof Health and Rehabilitative Services, which later became the Dept of Children\nand Families.  She began as a junior attorney handling dependency cases, and\nwas later promoted to managing attorney.\n\nAfter leaving DCF, Liz represented parents for approximately a year, which she\nbelieves rounded her as an attorney and prepared her to work at His House as In-\nHouse Counsel. She has been at His House for almost 19 years and considers\nherself a passionate child advocate.\n\nMarried for 33 years, Liz worships at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church\nin Doral where she serves as an eucharistic minister.\n
