It’s not every day you get invited to a TEDDY BEAR PICNIC! But when the call came in, Hope Heart & Home Ministry’s Eric Schwindeman, Rosa A. Perez Lacayo, and Kathleen Smith jumped to join Citrus Family Care Network‘s Kimberly Lopez at Holy Rosary-St. Richard’s Catholic Church for the festivities!

After celebrating a lunch of honey, candy bars, and lemonade, 100 teddy bears of all sizes piled into Kim & Rosie’s cars to join week-long celebrations of Foster Family Appreciation Week and relocate to a new home with a child in foster care.

Thank you HRSR and Propelled In Christ Ministry for your incredible generosity. Happy birthday, Kathleen! Boy, those bears throw one wild party! A couple had to be helped to the car!
