HHH MENTORS at First Star Academy, UM Law School

Teens aging out of foster care work hard at First Star Academy to hone their job readiness skills. Hope Heart & Home Ministry honored to offer First Star scholars a three-part symposium taught by HHH Mentors this past Saturday, March 8 at UM Law School.

Congratulations to HHH’s Dr. Vanessa Akiki for assembling the team of Dr. Caroline Ezekewesili, Dr. Alecia Rodriquez, Paul Czekanski, and Professors Melbelena Lagos-Latorre, and Eric Schwindeman to conduct classroom presentations on dress for success, interview skills, and mock one-on-one interviews.
