Kimberly V-Lopez is the Lead foster care recruiter with Citrus FCN. Her passion stems from
her past experience in the foster care system. After experiencing a traumatizing start in care,
she was blessed to be placed in a home that changed her life. Upon aging out of care and
with a passion for helping others, she started her child welfare career. Now with over 25yrs
of experience she has held various positions and helped hundreds of kids & families.
She is a part of various community alliances and boards. Her accolades include a 2022 Citrus
FCN Employee of the Year award: a 2024 A Better Me Organization award for her dedication
to service for empowering communities and inspiring change. And a 2025 Hope Over Gun
Violence Award by the SABV The JPBIII Foundation, Inc. for help and dedication to helping
communities at high risk of DCF removals.
Kimberly is led by a grateful heart and sprit which compels her to continue serve the
communities affected by child abuse.
