HOPE, HEART & HOME honored September 8 with the 2023 Distinguished Service Award for collaboration with and support for Miami’s foster children and child welfare advocates.
The Worldview International Foundation cited HHH for its work with community partners, including the Archdiocese of Miami, Citrus Family Care Network, Guardian ad Litem, Voices For Children. Florida Foster Care Review, Kiwanis Club of Miami. One More Child, CarePortal, Casa Valletina, and Genesis Hopeful Haven.
Accepting the award for HHH were Trustees Maria A. Mejia Jacques ( GAL),
Rosa A. Perez-Lacayo (FFCR Panelist), Carmenza Ortiz ( FFCR Panelist), and Eric Schwindeman ( Executive Director, GAL, Mentor).
HHH received the 2022 Outstanding Community Service Award from the Florida Faith and Community-Based Advisory Board last October.
